A wonderful and most unusual picture frame made from solid hallmarked English silver with a solid Oak backing incorporating a folding easel stand.

The front is beautifully engraved with Celtic knots, surrounding a small vacant cartouche to the top. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1923, 98 years old the makers mark is also present for the maker, William Harrison Walter.

Excellent condition measuring 6 5/8" x 4 3/4" x 5/8" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 5/8" x 3 3/4".
