A fascinating and rare coopered oak log bin / fire-side seat by R.A. Lister.
Whilst Lister is best know for it's coopered jardiniere, very few of these fireside bins exists.
They offer a most useful way to hide kindling, logs, paper, coal etc.
The inner, metal bin lifts out for filling.
In excellent antique condition showing only minor signs of previous use.
Lister's was most prevalent in the Edwardian era, circa 1910
Would look gorgeous in a cottage, fireside location!
