A really lovely example of a late Victorian/early 20th century bentwood hat and coat stand. The top section, with its four coat hooks and four bentwood scrolls for hats, is surmounted by a turned beehive finial. The triple cluster columned upright is supported by three downswept legs with a retaining ring for sticks and umbrellas. This fine hallstand has its original finish with a fine colour and patination. English, c.1890 – c.1910.

A Victorian mahogany bookcase. The glazed two door top of the bookcases has three adjustable shelves that are pine with a mahogany front edge and can be adjusted by increments of 3.5cm and will hold approximately 120 books. The cupboard base is divided in two, with each side having one fixed shelf and one removable shelf. The left hand doors have catches top and bottom to keep them closed and the right hand doors have locks and keys. The bookcase is in a good condition, the polish having been sympathetically restored, though right hand door has a small crack that is visible. The bookcase breaks down into two pieces for transporting. An Edwardian mahogany coal depot. The depot has a removeable metal liner with two handles, a sloping hinged lid that is carved in the centre and brass strap hinges. The strap hinges have an embossed decoration and are fastened to the depot with brass screws. The depot has a half round brass handle on the top, a bracket at the back to hold the shoveland stands on four original metal casters. The shovel itself has a turned wood handle and a brass scoop. The coal box is in a good condition and has an original colour to the wood. The depot does have some marks from use while the shovel does have some wear, again from use.
