A very sweet novelty pepper formed as a miniature lighthouse shape sugar or spice caster. Ribbed decorative bands and stepped collet foot, the pull off cover with a pagoda shape knop. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1896, maker initials WMW, possibly Richard Hines trading as W H Weston. Matching partial marks to the cover.

It measures 6.7cm (2 5/8") high and 3.3cm (1 5/16") wide and weighs 21g / 0.7ozt.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear. A perfectly usable piece as well as being a delight on display.
