A very stylish boxed set of 6 Hallmaked Solid Silver COCKTAIL Spoons.
Not to be confused with run-of-the-mill sets of teaspoons, these elegant spoons are designed to sit on the edge of one's cocktail glass while you sip your Martini, Mojita or Margarita. The handles taper to an elegant sharp point to spear that elusive olive or cherry.
Dating to 1937/38 at the height of the glamorous Art Deco era, this is a beautiful and quite scarce set in wonderful condition.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1937/38 and with the maker's mark, Thomas Bradbury & Sons. In original retailer's box (J C Vicery) of Bournemouth.
