A pair of Tortoiseshell Lorgnettes which date from the late Victorian era, circa 1880. The glasses fold into the tortoiseshell case and and can be opened using a small, almost disguised lever, at the side of the lens.
The faux tortoiseshell case is in excellent condition with just one minor old scuff which I have shown in the photographs.
The lenses are in very good condition with no scratches or blemishes.
The metalwork, including the vacant cartouche test as 9ct gold.
