This is a Edwardian octagonal hobnail cut glass thread/cotton dispenser fitted with a silver lid. The lid allows the thread to be dispensed and broken via a fitment.
The silver lid has a registration of design number Rd 393018 and a gilt wash interior.

The dispenser measures 85mm x 65mm.

The lid was made by Silversmith T.H.Hazlewood & Co and Hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay office in 1903.

The dispenser is in good condition with no damage, however there are a few scratch marks within the inside of the lid. We offer free insured postage & packing within the U.K.
