A very smart vintage English picture frame, Art Deco in style with an all-over engine turned decoration incorporating a rectangular vacant cartouche at the bottom.

The aperture is rather unusual, beautifully shaped at the top. The solid English Oak backing incorporates a folding easel stand.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 together with the makers mark for C S Green & Co.

The overall size of the frame is 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" with the glazed aperture measuring 6 1/2" x 4 5/8".
