This is a very fine 19th century antique brass fire fender.

Made of pierced sheet brass, it has a beautifully delicate design of fine brass filaments, laced together and picked out with raised brass studs

Dimensions:
Length 48.5 inches, 10 inches deep, 7 inches high

Very good condition, it is a heavy and robust fireplace fender . One brass filament, and one stud missing (see photo)
