Pair of Sterling Silver Sauce Boats
This pair of sauce boats are in the Georgian style, but are later in date. They are fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1911, and stamped with the maker's mark for Martin, Hall & Co. The sauce boats are also stamped with the pattern number 1215S and the retailer Wilson & Gill of 139 Regent Street. They have a nice classic shape with shaped edges, handle and are each supported on four shaped feet. Together they weigh approx. 250g (8ozt).
Condition: Overall in fair-good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some surface scratching and wear and some tarnishing and corrosion. They have some denting and misshaping in places.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
7cm high, 16.5cm long, 8.5cm wide. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
