A charming little antique English novelty pepperette or pepper pot in the form of a sauce pan with a full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1898. The makers initials are also present for the top notch silversmith, Cornelius Saunders & Francis Shepherd.

The lid fits well and once removed finds original gilding.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1 3/8" tall.
