Georgian Silver Salt Spoon Hester Bateman 1787


Here we have for sale a superb quality George III period silver Old English pattern salt spoon with wonderful gilt wash shell bowl. This beautiful spoon is by one of the most highly regarded and famous silversmiths of the 18th Century, Hester Bateman. The spoon has stunning bright cut decoration and the terminal has a period monogram.
