George III-English Pattern Silver Basting Spoon
Fine example of a Georgian Old English pattern silver basting spoon. Hallmarks for William Sumner I, London 1805 – 115g, 30.5cm.Excellent condition - unusually, for its age without wear to the end of the spoon. The spoon has a decorative monogram - possibly ELM.
Excellent - the nose of the spoons retains its original pointed shape. There is an engraved monogram.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise.
