Well executed five section inro from Japanese mid 19th century Edo period,signed Katikawa on the base with a red lacquer seal mark.
The sides are finely worked in takamaki-e with pagoda within a continuous mountain landscape,the interior of the cases are decorated in Nashiji,it has a cord with an agate ojime.
