Danish Silver Caddy Spoon, 1941

This Danish silver caddy spoon features a flowing leaf design with an art nouveau feel/influence.
The spoon is fully hallmarked for Danish silver, carrying the "three towers" mark for Copenhagen 1941, and the assay master Johannes Siggaard's mark. The maker and/or retailer's name is also stamped into the design, but the script is such that we cannot fully make an identification, and there is an additional mark that we have not been able to make out at all.
We believe the standard for silver in Denmark at this time was .830 grade.
The spoon bowl measures 3.5 cm (1.4") by 5 cm (2"). The overall length is 11 cm (4.3"). It weighs 25g.
All measurements are approximate.
The spoon is in very good condition with only light surface scratching commensurate with age.
Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
Selling price includes free UK postage. For other countries, please contact us for a quote.
