This is an interesting Art Deco style Garniture of a central Sphinx upon a black plinth, flanked by a pair of Spheres on black plinths. We are unsure whether these have always been together, as the Sphinx and its plinth are in one type of composite material, whilst the two Spheres and their plinths are in a different material, which feels more like bakelite. Also, the baize on the bottom is a different colour to that left on the base of the Sphinx.

However, as they look so good together, we have decided to leave them as a set. They could be the focal point of the collection of any Egyptophile.

Dimensions of Sphinx:

Base: 12 3/8" x 5 1/8" - 31.5cm x 13cm

Total Height: 8 1/2" - 21.6cm

Dimensions of Spheres:

Base: 4 1/4" - 11cm square

Total Height: 10 1/4" - 26cm

Material: Composite

Condition: Very good. Both the Spheres and the Sphinx are in very good condition with only minor wear. To be exact, one of the Spheres is perfect, while the other has a tiny nibble to the middle bottom edge of the plinth and a small nibble to the very bottom edge of one corner. The Sphinx has a small nibble to the middle vertical edge of the front and a tiny ding between the front paws, close to the body.
