Art Deco Silver Multi Coloured Coffee Bean Spoons
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer sale this stunning set of six Art Deco, George V period hallmarked sterling silver coffee bean demitasse spoons, each spoon topped by a different coloured bakelite coffee bean, the spoons come with their original Northern Goldsmiths Company fitted box.

Silversmith: Northern Goldsmiths Company, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Date mark: 1931
Assay office: Birmingham
Length: 9.5 cm
Combined weight: 38 grams (including Bakelite finials)
Condition report:
Spoons
The spoons are in very good condition for their age of 90 years. With light age related wear, light surface scratches and tarnish marks, there are some scratches to the brown bakelite coffee bean, the other ones are in excellent order.
Box
The period box that comes with the spoons is in good overall condition, some wear to the leatherette particularly to the lid and base, the fitted interior is in very good order and the box, the hinges are in excellent order, however there is some wear to the clasps.
