Pierre Le Faguays (French, 1892–1962): A pair of Art Deco patinated bronze figural bookends.
Formed as a faun and nymph, the bases signed and numbered respectively LAUREL 39 and 41,
one of a number of pseudomyns used by Le Faguays. On verde antico marble bases, 20.5cm high and 19.5cm high, the bases are 13.2cm wide and 10cm deep. Good condition overall, some
minor rubbing to the bronze and a few tiny nibbles to the marble. Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (UK faster payment or to our €Euro account) which incurs no additional costs or charges.
