A beautiful antique Art Nouveau sterling silver jewellery casket.

Oval shaped with a beautiful floral relief design to the lid in a typical Art Nouveau style, it stands raised on four decorative paw type feet.

It has a small lip for ease of opening, inside the base is lined with a dark purple / blue velvet.

Very detailed design.

Hallmarked on the base rim Chester, 1906, makers mark possibly George Edwin Walton.

The underside has a leather covered card base.

Ideal for storing small jewellery items, a very pretty piece, very well made.

Condition:
Good condition overall, signs of use and wear, overall patina.
