Antique Silver Cigarette Case Art Deco 1930
A large Art Deco cigarette case is in superb condition.
An exceptionally rare & eye-catching Art Deco fully hallmarked sterling silver cigarette case made by William Devenport. This is such an elegant piece that it is ideal for either ladies or gentlemen. The lid, base and all sides are decorated with an engine turned design we have not seen before. The images of the cigarette case really do not do it justice. It is divine! Please excuse the light shining on the case. The stunning engine turned design is superb and there isn't any loss of design. The lid and base are fully hallmarked and it was assayed at Birmingham in 1930. There aren't any initials or inscriptions on the case. All clasps and hinges work perfectly.
