A heavy solid silver toast rack of larger proportions

This fine English solid silver toast rack is elegant and of good practical proportions with a strong substantial construction. It stands on four ball feet which support the lower frame from which there are seven upright shaped divisions. The central one has a raised loop handle and the others form the individual sections for up to six slices of toast.

This fine example is hallmarked Birmingham 1924 – 5 and bears the well known makers mark for Alexander Clarke and Co.

The rack has a good weight of 176 grams.
