A lovely high gauge Silver Snuff Box,the Lid having Repousse Figures of four Dancing Cherubs,all edges have repousse trailing Leaves,it opens to reveal Gilding to inside of the lid.It is marked 835 with a Crown on top inner edge of lid,(apologies for image, could not get good Macro details) I believe the Hallmark indicates that it is German and probably dates around 1900. It weighs 80grammes (2.57 Troy Ozs.)Excellent condition. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antiques Emporium,Lewes,E.Sussex and also The Arcade, The Corn Exchange,The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells..If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in either Shop.
