A delightful small wooden trug, French, dating from the early 20th century. Of rectangular form with sloping sides, it is entirely of nailed construction, including the bentwood handle. The charming rustic simplicity, with natural weathered boards, and lovely undisturbed condition, makes it a treasure to use or adorn a simple space. Circa 1920
