A superb Japanese Imari charger, richly adorned with traditional motifs and vibrant colour. The design features two birds poised gracefully on a berry-laden branch beneath a glowing full moon, set alongside blooming chrysanthemums and intricate textile-inspired patterns in warm shades of red and orange. A classic blue-and-white geometric border frames the composition, lending balance and refinement. This piece beautifully captures the elegance and narrative charm of Meiji-period Imari ware, blending natural serenity with bold decorative artistry.
