Very rarely seen. A bone china Wedgwood Year Plate from 2003 titled 'Eric Ravilious's Boat Race Day 1938'
It was issued to celebrate the centenary of his birth and features images of the Boat race bowl and vase, plus an original drawing of Ravilious by his wife Tirzah Garwood. The plate is scroll linked by the Persephone ( Harvest Festival ) pattern with a gold band to the rim.
23cm dia. Original box included.
This particular plate was gifted to the vendor in 2004 by Lord Wedgwood and signed by him in gold to the reverse.
