Derby Porcelain Bocage Figure Ewe Suckling A Lamb

A charming early Derby porcelain figure group of a ewe suckling her lamb. Stood on a shaped base with applied blue flowers and leaves and set in front of a carefully arranged bocage with simple red centred flowers with pale lemon petal tips. Beautifully modelled figures with finely textured fleeces and lovely expressions on their faces. Patch marks to the base. c.1760-1765.
It measures 15.2cm (6") high and 12.7cm (5") wide by 9.5cm (3 3/4") deep.
In excellent condition: the ewe has lost the tip of her left ear, a very small loss to the tip of her left front toe and there are some usual minor losses to the bocage but no other damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost. For US customers, current tariff charges of 10% must be paid in advance of posting. Please contact us to go through the details.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
