Charming Scottish Bridgeness Pottery, Pug c.1925


In General
A wonderful Scottish Bridgeness Pottery (1888 - 1958), Bo'ness, slip moulded earthenware charming and distinctive Pug dog figurine with studded collar and lock c.1925.
The Bridgeness Pottery also known as Bo'ness, made pottery parlour ornaments and was located near Bo'ness (Barrowstounness) - a former port standing on the Southern shore of the River Forth, 10 miles west of the Forth Bridge near Edinburgh.

In excellent antique condition with some manufacturing faults but no chips, cracks or restoration. There are finger prints visible in the paint where the figurine has been handled with the paint wet. The glaze is rough to the touch in places. Please see photographs.
