A pair of very good quality Victorian mahogany dining chairs, re-polished, re-upholstered as a collage project over 30 years ago.
Large and heavy chairs with turned legs, lightly carved detailing, ( made when wood and labour was cheap )
New materials were used at the time, hand sprung seat, horse hair fillings, all hand stitched. Finished in blue velvet fabric with matching braid. Over the years from being in storage the fabric has picked up a few pressure marks on it now.
