Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer for sale this superb quality early Victorian fiddle pattern Scottish silver sugar sifter spoon.
This elegant early 19th century sifter spoon has a delicately hand pierced bowl, which has been gilt washed and has a period monogrammed letter "C", a stunning example that would make a fine addition to any fine antique silverware or flatware collection.

Date Mark: 1838 (William IV duty mark)
Assay Mark: Edinburgh
Stylistic Pattern: Fiddle

Condition Report
In very good condition for its age of 183 years , with the usual age related tarnish marks and surface scratches plus some wear to the gilt wash bowl and remnants of gilt to the rear of the bowl.
