Antique Silver Snuff / Patch Box, 1905
Lobed design antique silver snuff/patch box of overall plain design but with an art nouveau floral/swag style border to the lid edge.
The box is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1905, and it carries the maker's mark of William Hutton & Sons Ltd.
The base carries the full set of marks, the lid a partial set. All marks are clear.
William Hutton and Sons operated from West Street, Sheffield, Hanley Street, Birmingham, and Farringdon Road, London.
The box measures 4.8 cm (1.9") by 3.3 cm (1.3") and is 2 cm (.8") deep. It weighs 27g.
All measurements are approximate.
The box is in very good condition. The lid is a tight push fit.
