Always highly collectible, these figural silver plated honey bee pots are hard to find, especially in such wonderful condition as this one.

Even more special, this one was made in England specifically for export to France. Made by the top-notch English silversmith, Mappin & Webb for sale in it's Paris shop. It is marked under the winds "Importe Angleterre". The underside of the piece has the Mappin & Webb mark together with "Mappin & Webb Paris Fab. Anglaise".

The vibrant red glass pot can be unscrewed from the bee for easy washing and cleaning. It comes complete with it's original spoon, which are often replaced or absent.

Dating to around 1910 / 1920 it remains in superb condition. 6 1/2 in length x 5" widest x 3 3/4" tall.
