For a wonderful addition to your Christmas drinks party, celebrate with this mint condition, three part, two handled Wine Cooler by the very prestigious company Asprey of London. The set comprises the ice bucket itself, a bottle holder and strainer, as shown. The two latter are removable. The bottle holder is marked E.P.N.S MADE IN ENGLAND. The Ice Bucket itself is marked on the bottom ASPREY LONDON 15 E.P.N.S MADE IN ENGLAND.

Asprey was founded in 1781 in Mitcham, Surrey by William Asprey and has held the Royal Warrant for every single British Monarch since the early 1800s, when Queen Victoria awarded the first one.

Asprey no longer make silver plate and have not done so for in excess of 15 years, so we would estimate that this set was made circa 1970-80. They currently only make them in silver, the range starting from £3,500.
