The newly elected Lord Mayor, Sir Peter Laurie and the Sheriffs, John Humphery and Richard Peek Esq., Admission Ticket, to a Ball at Guildhall, on the 16th November 1832.
The Ticket is engraved by John Mottram and has a seal to the left hand side.
Sir Peter Laurie (1778-1861) was a British Politician, Sheriff of the City of London in 1823. Knighted in 1824. Elected to Lord Mayor of London in 1832. Chairman of The Union Bank and initially a Saddler who supplied the Indian Army with saddles and a Prison Reformer.
