A wonderful large desk magnifying glass by the highly sought-after and collectable silversmith, Sampson Mordan and Co. Ltd. fully hallmarked for London 1925.

The frame around the magnifier and the handle are all sterling silver. The glass is the original with surface scratches commensurate with age along with a tiny fleabite to the lens and a couple of minor bruises to the frame mentioned purely for accuracy. A good magnification and perfectly usable.

A lovely find measuring 6" x 3 1/2".
