Royal Precept of James VI - 1603
A Royal Precept of Sasine dated 1st December 1603 by King James VI to Andrew Edmonston of Lands of Gulmerton in Midlothian,granted at Edinburgh.
Handwritten, 29 Lines of Latin & Scots onto vellum. Has the fine penned initial letter and name Jacobus (James) King James VI of Scotland. Plus part fragment of the Privy Seal of Scotland. Due to personal reasons 'Wayside Mews and Collectables' will be unable to fulfil any orders for the immediate future, this will include the period up to St Valentines Day 2023.
