This is an exquisite and rather rare novelty silver stamp case made in 1914 by the sought-after silversmiths Crisford & Norris. It is modelled as a book and the swivel cover is engraved with bias foliate scrolls.
The sides with reeded decorations to emulate the pages of a book. The spine fitted with a suspension loop.
The plain back is fully hallmarked.
Gilt interior.

Hallmarks:

C&N for Crisford & Norris.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "p" for 1914.

Dimensions:

2.5cm x 2 cm.
