James II Handwritten Vellum Obligation Bond dated 14th June 1689, between Edward and Sir Ferdinando Hudleston - a very noted Royalist Catholic Family tracing their ancestry back 5 generations before the Norman Conquest. Having owned Millom and Munchester Castles in Cumbria, plus lands in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
The Bond has the vellum covered seals of Edward and Ferdinando, and is written in both Latin and English
