Gilt Mirror with Three Feathers Carving c.1890 Adam  style gilt mirror %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Delightful late 19th.c. Adam style gilt mirror c.1890. 16½” x 21½” mirror plate within a slim carved and moulded wooden frame. Topped with a large decorative carved spray featuring three feathers over acanthus leaves and scrolling wirework supporting a delicate garland of harebells running down each side of the frame. Further scrolling leaf and flower head detail at the bottom of the frame. Nice mellow gilding, rubbed through in places to reveal the red ground below. Very good condition.
Dimensions: width 21½”, height 37½”.
