George III Sterling Silver Serving Spoon
An early 19th century George III sterling silver serving spoon.
The spoon has hall marks for London, the year 1807, the head of George III and the maker's mark for Peter & William Bateman.
Peter & William Bateman were brothers from the famous Bateman family of silversmiths.
The oval bowl has a long slim handle that has a griffin engraved at the tip and the assay and hall marks on the back.
The spoon is in good condition. (Circa 1807)
