George III, English Silver Marrow Scoop c1787
A very good Antique Georgian English Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made in London and dating from c1787.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GS/WF" for George Smith (III) & William Fearn, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "m" for 1787/88.
It has a very nice double armorial crest engraved - see photo.
