Four Silver Salts Cauldron George Unite 1881
For your consideration this superb set of George Unite silver gilt lined salts with the original four spoons. The design is a cauldron shape bowl set on three ball feet. Rare to find as a complete set.
Each piece is fully hallmarked Birmingham, 1881, Maker George Unite.
Presented in a mahogany box which is included in the sale, but this inot the original case that the salts came with.
Weight: 145 grams (4.75 oz).
Diameter to the opening of the cauldrons is 4 cms.
Condition
The condition is very good indeed. Good clear hallmarks to every piece. One salt has a line to each side of the rim which can be seen in the last two photographs, other than that the rest are in very good condition.
The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
Please note: antique items for sale may have some wear and marks commensurate with their age which adds to the character of the piece.
