Stunning 19th century French silver and niello snuff box with a repeating geometric design on all sides including the base. Gilded inside and marked inside the lid with the Minerva 2 mark denoting 800 standard silver and a maker's mark.

It measures 9cm long, 3.5cm wide and 2.8cm deep. It weighs 95g/3ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage, dents or losses. The gilding on the flanges inside the lid is a bit rubbed from the action of opening and closing. The hinge is fine and it closes perfectly. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
