Pretty heart shaped Dutch silver yarn hook. It was made in Hoorn, Netherlands, in 1865 by Jacob v. Straten. Even the hook is stamped with the Dutch silver mark. The plaque would be attached to the wearers belt and yarn could be suspended from the hook, mostly used when crocheting. A lovely collectable sewing item in excellent condition. Including the hook, it measures 4" long. I prefer payment by bank transfer, details on request.
I regret that due to current regulations I am unable to ship ivory items to the United States, even though all items are CITES compliant.
