Boxed Set of 6 Japanese 950 Sterling Silver Spoons
A charming vintage set of 6 Japanese fine 950 Sterling Silver Spoons in original case.
Dating to ~ 1950 these delightful spoons are produced in solid 950 Sterling Silver (950 parts per 1000 purity), purer than the more usual 925 standard.
Each spoon is topped with a different item from Japanese life....tea kettle, slipper, buddha, fan, ceramic pot and wooden bucket. The bowls take the form and design of flowers, with 'bamboo' stems.
An unusual and quite rare set in excellent condition. Would make a wonderful gift or addition to a collection.
