A highly unusual mid 19th century Giltwood Overmantle Mirror, depicting stylised Dolphins as those seen on the South Bank of London in the form of cast iron lamps designed by George Vulliamy. This mirror with all original gilding is in wonderful antique condition, retaining the original foxed mirror plate. The mirror having a fish scale decorated surround and flanked to the base with exquisite stylised Dolphins with scrolled tails. The mirror is crested with a Oyster with water reeds to either side.

Please note the mirror plate can be changed to new plate is required.
