A delightful oval Victorian gilt wall mirror of rope twist design. Surmounted by a rope design crest terminating in tassles with a conforming design to the base having original back boards and a good mirror plate. The whole has a 24ct water gilded finish and not the inferior cheap oil or parcel gilt finish. Measures 26"h x 18"w ( glass 19"h x 15.5"w). Excellent condition. Circa 1880. Viewing by appointment only.
