19th Cent Rural Needlework Picture
A fine quality, early Victorian, needlework picture of a girl standing in a rural scene. This retains all its lovely old colours. Generally in excellent condition with a small patch applied to the back, see photograph. The maple frame appears to be original and does show a few signs of wear around the edges. Sizes: 29”(73cms) wide, 22”(56cms) high. 1”(3cms) deep. Date circa 1840.

I source my stock through many contacts built up over the years. This continues to consist of carefully chosen high quality 17th 18th and 19th century of furniture, particularly specialising in articles with their own fine original colour and also many interesting smaller items of the same periods.
