1897 Elgin Engraved Full Hunter Pocket Watch
An 1897 Elgin full hunter pocket watch. A large, well engraved gold plated case with front and back showing birds amongst foliage. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds signed 'Elgin'. A well engraved mechanism with lever escapement and finely graduated adjustment. Inner case marked 'Keystone Watchcase'. Serial numbers date this watch to 1897.
