Llanelly Pottery 1839-1922. Founded by William Chambers Junior. The South Wales Pottery, Llanelly.

Manufacturer of high quality earthen wares in particular transfer ware, the willow pattern being the best known. Their pottery is sold at home and exported all over the world. The work of Samuel Shufflebotham, who worked at the pottery, is well known and sought after. In 1922 the Llanelly Pottery closed down, and with it came the demise of industrial pottery production in South Wales.
