Very handsome mid 19th.c, single arm, buttoned back sofa c.1880. Of superb quality, 7 feet long with a solid oak frame. The unusual design suggests it may originally have been intended for a billard room or similar. With turned arm support and legs with carved and ebonised detail very much in the manner of Lamb of Manchester. Raised on period white porcelain castors. Superb condition with clean fresh upholstery in a pink damask.
